Biography

Professor Bo Lei got his Ph.D degree in Biomedical Materials from South China University of Technology, China in 2007 and 2010. From 2011 to 2013, he worked as a research professor and visiting professor in the Department of Dental Materials of Korea University and Seoul National University, Korea. Then he became a full Professor at the Frontier Institute of Science and Technology in Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2013. Professor Lei has published more than 70 peer-reviewed SCI papers in the field of Biomaterials Science including Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Nano, Biomaterials, Advanced Healthcare Materials, Acta Biomater and so on, with a total citation above 1200 times and 10 patents. He was also the guest editor of “Frontiers in Chemistry”.She has published widely in the field of biomaterials and guest member on the editorial boards of a number of journals and reviewer for over 12 journals She was awarded the ‘Biocompatibles UK’ prize in 2008 by the UK Society for biomaterials for her significant contribution to the field of biomaterials.
